If you are looking for a breeder that strives for health, intelligence, personality plus, and beautiful shih tzus, look no farther! Puppiesinabox has been breeding for over 20 years and pays attention to the inherant problems of the breed. Eye. knees, liver and kidney to name a few. We gentically test for eye problems, knees and hips, liver and kidney. We just finished doing JRD (juvenile renal dysplaysia) on all of our breeding animals. Genetic issues can pop up anytime but we do everything we can to be aware of those issues in our lines. I am not a big breeder, I have 12 adults. I give in depth personal attention to all of the Mommies and Daddies and then to each and every puppy. They are born in my home and nurtured and loved until they leave.
